|3D Printing Now Available @ CCL|
On Monday, September 28, 2015 the Cumberland County Library will begin offering a new 3D printing service for the public. The library’s printer is a Cubify 3rd generation Cube with a 6” x 6” x 6” printing space. The library hopes to offer a wide variety of color options starting with black, neon green, and pale yellow. This technology offering will be a first for public libraries in Cumberland County.
For the moment, the 3D print service will be managed by library staff. Print designs should be limited to those that can fit the printer’s available print space. Each print job will require a three dollar deposit plus additional fees past the first hour. Print jobs will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Users should allow several days for their project’s completion. 3D Printer policies will be available upon request at the library.
